AJ Libunao is an American multimedia producer based in Hong Kong.

His work has been published by organizations such as Asia Sentinel, Yahoo! News, South China Morning Post, Wiener Zeitung and The Caravan.

He produces online content for the Journalism and Media Studies Centre at The University of Hong Kong and teaches online journalism, photography and video news production as an assistant lecturer.

Prior to joining the JMSC, AJ designed EEG technology-based video games in Hong Kong and taught in Japan.

He holds a master’s degree in Multimedia and Entertainment Technology from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a bachelor’s in Studio Art from the University of California, Irvine.
