He is a data journalist at the Korea Center for Investigative Journalism. It’s South Korea’s first nonprofit investigative newsroom, and its data journalism unit is one of the first dj unit in South Korea.He mainly analyzed political data(donations, finance data of officials, and etc), economic data(debts, housing) and social network data.He did the analyst role at the investigation about online smear campaign by the National Intelligence Service (NIS) to influence the 2012 presidential election. His investigation team’s finding is that NIS agents wrote 280,000 tweets using some 600+ twitter accounts to help candidate of saenuri party. The findings of the reports have been confirmed to be true by prosecutors’ investigations later.
