Zela is the Senior Reporter/Producer for weekly business program, "Money Magazine," on TVB, Hong Kong’s flagship broadcaster. Besides business news, she reports on consumer issues, government policy, technology, and luxury brands. She started her career producing for CNN in the U.S. and later joined CNN Hong Kong to produce the interview program, Talk Asia with Lorraine Hahn. Highlights include interviews with Alibaba CEO Jack Ma, scientist Stephen Hawking, and opera singer Luciano Pavarotti. She's had stints with the Phnom Penh Post in Cambodia, and ABC News (U.S.) online. Zela has a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Hong Kong, a bachelor’s in Slavic languages from Duke University, and was the recipient of the Gates Millennium Scholarship. In her free time, she guest lectures at universities, moderates conferences, and volunteers with the Duke Alumni Association.
